Tiger's likely schedule

Tiger Woods has gone no further than naming The Masters for his comeback. But where else is he likely to play in 2010?

Judging by recent seasons, this could be the world number one's 2010 schedule:

April 8-11: Masters, Augusta, Georgia. Confirmed as the first event back for Woods.

April 29-May 2: Quail Hollow Championship, Charlotte, North Carolina. Unless things go catastrophically wrong in The Masters, this may be his first regular event. He finished fourth last year and won it in 2007.

May 6-9: Players Championship, Sawgrass, Florida. Unofficial fifth major. Woods has missed it only once since 1996 and that was because of injury two years ago.

June 3-6: Memorial, Muirfield Village, Ohio. Woods won for the fourth time last year.

June 17-20: US Open, Pebble Beach, California. Site of Woods' major-record 15-shot win in 2000.

July 1-4: AT&T National, Aronimink, Pennsylvania. Tournament hosted by Woods - and he won it last year.

July 15-18: Open Championship, St Andrews, Scotland. On his last two trips to the Home of Golf Woods won by eight in 2000 and by five in 2005.

August 5-8: WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, Akron, Ohio. Woods has won seven times on the Firestone course in 10 visits.

August 12-15: US PGA Championship, Whistling Straits, Wisconsin. Final major of the season. Woods has finished first, first and second the last three times he has played in it.

August 26-29: The Barclays, Ridgewood, New Jersey. First leg of the FedEx Cup play-offs. Woods was joint runner-up last year.

September 3-6: Deutsche Bank Championship, TPC Boston, Massachusetts. Second play-off event. Woods won in 2006.

September 9-12: BMW Championship, Cog Hill, Illinois. Third play-off event. Woods won by eight last year and had third-round 62 on the same course.

September 23-26: Tour Championship, East Lake, Georgia. Woods was runner-up to Phil Mickelson last year, but scooped the 10million FedEx jackpot.

October 1-3: Ryder Cup, Celtic Manor, Wales. Woods has been on only one winning team in five appearances and might think long and hard about this one. The Americans triumphed without him last time.

November 4-7: HSBC Champions, Shanghai, China. Last of this year's world championships. Woods has played it three times and has come second, second and sixth.
