Golf's "Wild Thing" has teamed up with Druh Belts & Buckles to launch a range of John Daly belts that will feature his recognisable "lion" logo on the buckle.

Daly, a two-time major winner and one of golf's most popular players, is known throughout the golfing world for his outrageous, psychedelic outfits which were very much in evidence last week at Turnberry during The Open Championship, where he tied for 27th spot.

On each day of The Open, Daly wore a different coloured Druh John Daly Belt with the lion buckle to match his outfit whilst another 18 players in the field sported a Druh Belt during week of the tournament, including the Silver Medal winner Matteo Manassero of Italy.

"John Daly is a legend in his own lifetime so Druh Belts are delighted to have joined forces with John to develop a range of John Daly Lion Belts," comments Simon Hurd, founder of Druh Belts & Buckles, which feature the now familiar DB logo.

"Given his high profile and the legion of fans he has attracted from around the world, I am confident that the John Daly range will be one of our most highly sought-after ranges."

DB Belts will also market and distribute the John Daly Lion Range on behalf of the golfer using their global network and marketing expertise.

Launched under a year ago, Druh Belts & Buckles are funky yet stylish handmade leather and snakeskin belts in sumptuous classic and chic casual styles. The Druh leather belt range is handmade in ten water snakeskins, ranging from turquoise to pink and 15 leathers in different embossed styles, from crocodile to ostrich effect. Druh's interchangeable buckles in brushed nickel, polished silver or gold mean their belts can be customised to the individual.

Already numerous European Tour players are sporting Druh Belts & Buckles both on and off the course. Most recently, David Howell put in an order whilst long-time quirky dresser Robert Karlsson is also a fan and a Druh ambassador alongside Paul McGinley.

Druh Belts retail at US$200 (circa £135) for snakeskin and $100 (circa £70) for leather and guarantees that the snakes used in production are not a protected species. Each belt ordered comes with your selected buckle & strap plus a standard buckle and is stylishly gift wrapped in a drawstring pouch so ideal to give as a present.

Druh Belts & Buckles are distributed in the UK via The Golf Business who can be contacted at janeb@thegolfbusiness.com or on 01 932 568 330.
