Getting the line on those long putts

If you have to make a long putt that is likely to have more than one break in it, try breaking down your 'read' of the line into sections - e.g. by first walking to the halfway point and reading the break from there to the hole and then going back to the ball and reading the break from there to the halfway point.

Work out the overall line, line-up the putt and roll it away with confidence, knowing you have taken care as best you can to get the right line.
